The morning after we got home from our trip Logan had outpatient surgery for a clogged tear duct we have been watching for months. He was a calm, sweet boy after his oral versed, then turned into a monster after he woke up from surgery. He cried a lot in recovery, but was pretty much his normal self as soon as he got carried out of the recovery room.

busy couple weeks...
I wanted to share a few highlights from the last couple weeks. We took a road trip up to Alberta to visit Shawn's family and for him to spend a little time at camp. The first night we stopped in Banff overnight and took a trip up Sulfur Mountain via the gondolas. Really crazy when I am afraid of heights, but I survived and it was fun. We spent a little time on the top, but the sweet and obedient little boys of ours helped us make a decision not to go to the Calgary Stampede that weekend. :( Some things are just harder and less enjoyable with sleep deprived little kids. Other highlights included the Calgary Zoo, spending time with Grandpa/Mark/Karen, haircuts for all of us from Aunt Karen in her new salon, five days of swimming (two of the days at neat waterparks), and perogy pizza three times! Overall we had a nice trip and are glad we went despite the cold and rainy weather and mosquitos that would attack us anytime it wasn't raining. The boys did fairly well in the car too, but we will see when we attempt another road trip. :)
