sometimes it's the little things that are the most meaningful. yesterday i had an ob appointment and shawn encouraged me to go get a pedicure afterward. my neglected toes were in desperate need of some attention (especially since it has gotten harder to reach them!). i gladly took him up on his offer and enjoyed a bit of peace and quiet to myself, looking at a magazine. thanks shawn for encouraging me to take a few minutes for myself. life is crazy for us and we plan to take an evening to just enjoy the magic of the season.... stay tuned. :)
