Sometimes a wife just needs a little break from everyday life, but needs some good quality family time too! Shawn spoiled me by taking us to the Davenport Hotel last night. The boys were so excited to look out the window, and they didn't really care that our view was of some rooftop, puddles of water, and a bit of the clock. :)
Logan at our favorite restaurant, Mizuna. We have only been there once before (and it's still our fav...hehe). The boys did pretty well, but dinner wasn't quite so enjoyable with kids we had to constantly entertain. We definitely had a feeling like we had to eat quickly before they had a meltdown! Now that we have date nights more often we haven't taken the boys out much, but we probably should a little bit more so they can get used to having nice behavior at restaurants.
Logan loved to splish splash!!! The pool was freezing, but the hot tub was lots of fun for them. We played in the water twice and that was probably their favorite part! Brady got to stay up late with us and have dessert while we watched Tangled.
We finished off our little excursion this morning with breakfast at another place we really enjoy, Chaps. The boys had lots of fun in the sandbox outside before we headed home.
